Sea Freight

FCL, LCL consolidation and breakbulk through Jebel Ali and the wider Gulf port network.

Sea freight carries the volume. It is the cheapest way to move weight over distance, and the least forgiving of a mistake. A container rolled at origin is not a delay of hours but of a sailing, and a sailing is a week.

We book on carrier and NVOCC space out of Jebel Ali and the regional ports, consolidate LCL cargo on our own build-ups, and stay on the file until the container is discharged, cleared and delivered.

What we handle

  • FCL, full container load

    20ft, 40ft, 40ft high-cube, reefer, open-top and flat-rack equipment.

  • LCL, less than container load

Consolidated groupage on scheduled build-ups, priced per cubic metre or tonne.

  • Breakbulk and RoRo

Cargo that will not go in a box: machinery, vehicles, structures and long lengths.

  • Cross-trade

Third-country shipments that never touch the UAE, coordinated from Dubai with neutral documentation.

  • Reefer and controlled cargo

Temperature-managed containers with monitoring through the voyage.

  • Documentation

Bills of lading, certificates of origin, legalisation and letter-of-credit-compliant document sets.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between FCL and LCL?

FCL gives you the whole container at a flat rate regardless of how full it is. LCL shares a container with other shippers and is priced on the space you use. The crossover is usually around 13-15 cubic metres. Past that, an FCL is often cheaper as well as faster, because it skips deconsolidation.

How long does a shipment take?

Transit depends entirely on the lane and whether the service is direct or transhipped. Indicative times are published on each of our trade lane pages, but the sailing schedule at the time of booking is what governs.

Do you arrange cargo insurance?

Carrier liability is limited by convention and is not insurance. We can arrange all-risk marine cover on request, and we recommend it on anything where the loss would actually hurt.
