Regulated goods such as food, cosmetics, supplements, medical devices, electricals, chemicals and toys cannot simply be imported and sold. They need authority registration, conformity documentation, and labelling that meets UAE rules, including Arabic content.

How long does registration take?
It varies widely by product category and by how complete the technical file is on first submission. Incomplete dossiers are the main cause of delay, so we would rather spend an extra week preparing than three months responding to queries.
Does my product need Arabic labelling?
For most consumer goods sold in the UAE, yes. What must appear in Arabic depends on the category. We will confirm against your specific product rather than give a generic answer.
